About
Stacy Tiburzi is the Executive Assistant for the Department of Astronomy. Her responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level administrative support to the Department Chair and Department Chief Administrator.
- Administrative coordinator for tenure and research faculty search, hire, review, and promotion processes.
- Conference and event planning and on-site management.
- Colloquia management of travel, meeting schedules, event advertising, and honoraria.
- Assisting with faculty leave forecasting and workflows.
- Postdoctoral fellow position advertising and onboarding.
- Space planning for postdoctoral fellows and department visiting scholars.
- Procurement and expense reconciliation for department goods and services.
- Multiple calendar management and meeting coordination.
- Special projects for the Chair and Chief Administrator.
