Here you can find some facts about me

I'm now a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Astronomy at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. You can find more information about my professional activities in the astrophysics section.

Originally, I'm from Rotkreuz (Risch), Canton Zug, Switzerland and lived there all my life before I moved to Santa Cruz in October 2006. You can find some beautiful pictures of my Swiss homeland canton Zug here.

As a hobby, I'm playing cornet and trumpet very actively. I played in many ensembles in my life so far ranging from brass and wind bands over big bands to symphony orchestras and you can find more information about my musical activities in the music section.
