I am currently working with Prof. Elena Gallo on low-level accretion onto supermassive black holes. Previously I taught physics for a year at the College of Wooster.

Research Interests

  • Potential interaction between hot Jupiters and their host stars
  • Role of environment in black hole growth and activity
  • X-ray properties of radio-intermediate and radio-loud quasars
  • Broad absorption line radio-loud quasars
  • Hybrid morphology radio sources
  • Mass transfer and accretion structure in Algol-type binaries

Education

B.S. Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Ph.D. Pennsylvania State University
