The peak flux for this flare was $(4.9\pm1.5)\times10^{6}$cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$(E $>$ 100 MeV). This is the third largest flux of all EGRET blazars. Followup observations from the GreenBank monitoring program, Meisahovi Radio Telescope, and Michigan Radio Telescope are also presented here. We are currently investigating the possiblility of a radio flare coincident with the gamma$-$ray flare but delayed by several weeks. Also presented are several epochs of VLBA maps investigating the possibilty of emergence of new regions of synchrotron emission in the jet. \end{abstract}
