Angell Hall Observatory
Angell Hall Observatory is located on the roof of the Angell Hall classroom building, and is the student observatory of the University of Michigan. It is also open for free public open houses many times during the year. The main telescope is a 0.4-m (16-inch) diameter reflecting telescope. There are also a radio telescope and several 20-cm (8-inch) Schmidt-Cassegrains, all for undergraduate and graduate student use.
There is now a permantly mounted instrument package, which includes an eyepiece port, spectrograph, and imaging CCD with filter wheel.
