Observatory Nights
Angell Hall
Open Houses at the Angell Hall Student Observatory and Planetarium are run by the Student Astronomical Society. Their schedule is available at http://www.astro.lsa.umich.edu/sas/openhouse.html.
Special Events are occasionally held by the department, usually in conjunction with SAS. Upcoming special events are on the events page.
Peach Mountain
The University Lowbrow Astronomers run the 24" McMath-Hulbert optical telescope located at Peach Mountain (part of Stinchfield Woods) in Dexter. Their open house schedule is at http://www.umich.edu/~lowbrows/calendar/.
The Peach Mountain Radio Telescope is also open on the third Sunday of September every year, from 2 - 4:30 in the afternoon. The next one is scheduled for Sept 19, 2008. Directions and policies are on the Peach Mountain page
