A How-to guide for many computer tasks, along with plenty of other informaiton not related to computing, can be found in the department wiki. You must be a member of the department to access the wiki.
To report or check on an issue, email or go to http://request.umich.edu/astro-help (opens in a new window). Log in with your uniqname and password. Common solutions should be on the main page. Click "Submit Request" to request help. You can also request help or report an issue by e-mailing astro-help@umich.edu.
For issues with the website such as to request updates or to get help creating your personal page you can go to http://request.umich.edu/astronomy/labs/ or e-mail astro-labs@umich.edu. Since this is the same place to report planetarium, observatory, or lab equipment trouble, it would help to include "website" as part of the subject line.
