A How-to guide for many computer tasks can be found in the department wiki. You must be at a university computer to access this.
To see frequently asked questions and common system administration problems, or to report or check on an issue, go to http://help.lsa.umich.edu/astro-request (opens in a new window). Log in with your uniqname and password. Common solutions should be on the main page. Click "Submit Request" to request help. You can also request help or report an issue by e-mailing astro-help@umich.edu.
For issues with the website such as to request updates or to get help creating your personal page you can go to http://request.umich.edu/astronomy/labs/ or e-mail astro-labs@umich.edu. Since this is the same place to report planetarium, observatory, or lab equipment trouble, it would help to include "website" as part of the subject line.
