Research Projects For Early Students
The aim of our newly redesigned research program for early graduate students is to provide first and second year students with a supportive and educational transition into graduate research. For breadth, students optimally complete one-year research projects with faculty members in different areas of research. Students receive feedback on two to three formal presentations on their research, as well as a feedback on a short written summary of their progress after one year. Each summer project descriptions are contributed by the faculty, and preference for project choices is given to second year students.
